Pizza Ranch Menu With Prices
Pizza Ranch’s birthplace is Hull, Iowa and when it opened its first restaurant on December 21st almost 33 years ago, it had only six pizzas: Bronco, Sagebrush, Round Up, Texan, Prairie, and Sweet Swine. When Pizza Ranch was newly opened, “Buffet Night” was only on Tuesdays, while business hours were for dine in and take out orders. Noon buffet was introduced two years after the Hull opening in Orange City. Six years after Pizza Ranch went into business, its Sioux City outlet opened and its menu was expanded to include chicken.
A Christian company, Pizza Ranch stands out from other pizza restaurants for its vision “to glorify God” by creating positive impact in the world. There is even a page on their website which says to let them know how they “can pray for you.” Most blogs are on lifestyle or entertainment, others rant and rave, and several are promotional for products. The Pizza Ranch blog is written everyday to “bless and benefit” people. If that isn’t nice, we don’t know what is.
The Only One of Its Kind
Whether the spiritualism helps or their business sense is keen, there’s no doubt that Pizza Ranch has outstanding customer service. This restaurant chain is probably the only one of its kind that will really go the whole nine yards to earn a customer’s loyalty. Case in point: if you don’t find ANY of their pizzas to your satisfaction, Pizza Ranch will make you a pizza the way you want it, ingredients and all. Really. Any kind of pizza that you want. No kidding.
Actually, Pizza Ranch has such a wide selection of pizzas to choose from that even the pickiest of foodies will enjoy. The Pizza Ranch Buffet has a plethora of food items that can be overwhelming. There’s pizza, of course, chicken (Buffalo, BBQ, Asian Sesame and Country’s Best), fresh vegetables, hot mashed potatoes with gravy, potato wedges, and salads. You can also order off their menu at designated schedules.
The Ranch Packs
The standard menu items include Cheesy Ranch Stix, Cactus Bread, Buffalo Wings, wraps, broasted potatoes, waffle fries, ranch chips, chicken fingers, and the best sellers Crispy Ranch Chicken from a special broasted chicken recipe and the Round Up, Bacon Cheeseburger, Texan Taco, and Bronco specialty pizzas.
They also have the “Ranch Packs” in three combinations:
1. the Pizza Pack with any large pizza of your choice and a couple of small side dishes;
2. the Chicken Pack with eight chicken pieces of Crispy Ranch Chicken and two servings of small sides; and
3. the Combo Pack of any one medium-sized pizza plus a couple of two small-sized sides, and eight Crispy Ranch Chicken pieces.
The small sides include potato wedges, biscuits, Cheesy Ranch Stix, and Cactus Bread while the Family Sides include coleslaw, hot mashed potatoes served with gravy, fresh corn, and green beans.
At Pizza Ranch, you get desserts pizza-style to round off your meals: their signature Cactus Bread topped with icing and peppered with cinnamon streusel; and “Dessert Pizzas” in Blueberry (with blueberries, icing and streusel), Peach (peach topping, icing, and streusel), and Apple (apples, icing, and streusel). Selected Pizza Ranch outlets have soft-serve ice cream in vanilla – perfect for topping on any of the Dessert Pizzas — available on the buffet menu.
The Pizza Ranch summer specials include Garden Garlic Chicken Pizza with the crust infused with delicious garlic butter and topped with mini bell peppers, roasted onions, spinach, diced chicken, and mushrooms and additional new ingredients to their salad selection, the Farm Fresh Summer Salad made of cherry tomatoes, bacon, mini bell peppers, and fresh cucumbers which you can have with your favorite dressing from the salad bar.
Pizza Ranch now offers gluten-free food items. You can rest assured that the gluten-free crusts of their pizzas have been prepared in specific procedures devoid of cross contamination using separated and sanitized utensils and baked in specific pans. Gluten-free pizza crusts, however, are available for carry-out, delivery or dine-in but not the buffet.
As an added service to customers, Pizza Ranch has listed their ingredient statement for their gluten-free pizza crusts on their website including egg whites, rice flour, tapioca starch, filtered water, eggs, modified corn starch, vegetable shortening, potato starch, leavening, kosher gelatin, and extra virgin olive oil, among others.
A Pizza Feast
Creating your own pizza is typical in most pizza restaurants and Pizza Ranch is no exception. You can choose your sauce – Alfredo, Original, Buffalo, Garlic, and BBQ – and top your pizza off with diced chicken, mozzarella cheese, beef, onions, mushrooms, spinach, Canadian bacon, green peppers, sauerkraut, black and green olives, pineapple, pepperoni, bacon pieces, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, Italian sausage, and jalapeño peppers.
Quite a feast, don’t you think? Pizza Ranch is also probably the only pizza joint that has their drinks included in the buffet price, something that you normally don’t find at other buffets, pizza type or not. Check out the Pizza Ranch deals, Kid’s Night, and Ranch Rewards on their website for more information. Pizza just ain’t pizza if it’s not from Pizza Ranch!
